Top 10 Most In-Demand Shows in the US (March 12–18, 2017)

Netflix’s Marvel’s Iron Fist had three times more demand compared to Marvel’s Luke Cage. Despite the apparent negative reviews, Iron Fist is the most in-demand digital original series in the United States. Luke Cage‘s steady demand was enough to make it the second-most in-demand series this week.

The biggest changes this week were Rhett & Link’s Buddy System, which fell by 28%. Given old favorites like Stranger Things and House of Cards are returning soon with new episodes, will likely mean older titles like Buddy System will be pushed further down the list. The new season of Netflix’s Love is ranked third by demand, with 14% more demand compared to Hulu’s The Path, which ended its second season on March 8.  Orange is the New Black, and The Man in the High Castle all had less than a 10% week-on-week change in demand, indicating that they will remain in the top 10 until new titles or new seasons are released, resulting in more demand. House of Cards had 20% less demand compared to last week.

Iron Fist also made an appearance on the overall chart: High demand caused it to rise to be the seventh most in-demand show in the US. The superhero show had 11% more demand compared to DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow. Game of Thrones dropped one place in its ranking compared to last week, with 17% less demand, but we certainly expect demand to pick up after July.
