Deal Provides A+E Networks with Daily Insights on Audience Demand for TV Content Across All Digital Platforms Globally.
A+E Networks has signed a multi-year subscription agreement with Parrot Analytics, a leading data science firm which has developed a new technology capable of measuring cross-platform global demand for content. The service will provide A&E with quantifiable and timely data to gauge country-specific audience interest for specific TV content for several of its programming channels including History, FYI, Lifetime and Viceland.
The announcement was made by Sean Cohan, A+E’s President of International and Digital Media, and Wared Seger, CEO for Parrot Analytics.
In making the announcement, Cohan stated that, “The crisis facing our industry today is the fact there is no standardized measure of global content interest. Although we have worked with most of the existing measurement providers, none have been able to provide the global standard data our industry needs – until today.”

Because A+E is gaining viewers worldwide through its dedication to nurturing an array of strategic brands, content development has come both in the form of media partnerships such as Vice, as well as through original programming such as the remake of Roots.
