Parrot Analytics’ early demand data shows A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms launching as a strong franchise extension rather than an experimental spinoff. In the U.S., the series reached a 73.7x peak demand (ranking first among 2026 launches by peak performance) and averaged 24.77x demand during its initial window, placing it among the top tier of recent premium releases.
Post-launch demand has remained resilient. One day after release, the series reached 58.08x demand, comparable to House of the Dragon at the same stage, and sustained 41.92x by day seven, indicating engagement beyond premiere-driven sampling. Pre-launch demand also reflected franchise momentum, reaching 8.15x in the U.S. twenty days before debut.
Audience composition skews young, led by Zennials (44%) and Gen Z (25%), while still maintaining reach across older cohorts. Internationally, early demand is traveling efficiently, with U.K. demand reaching 63% of U.S. levels within 30 days and similar performance across other key English-language markets. Overall, early indicators align with established franchise behavior rather than a one-off event release.
