It is now possible to measure global television series popularity in over 100 markets worldwide with Parrot Analytics’ cross-platform TV measurement standard: Demand Expressions. Let’s us now take a look at how popular U.S. entertainment content is.

Top 10 Digital Originals:

The sitcom Grace and Frankie, which was released on May 6th, surpassed the still-popular Fuller House to become the most in-demand digital original series this week.

Orange is the New Black’s demand continues to grow, becoming greater than Hulu’s 11.22.63, which has decreased in demand since last week.

Netflix’s The Ranch has fallen out of the top ten digital originals, though it was released more recently than more-popular titles such as House of Cards, Sense8 and Jessica Jones.

Top 10 Overall:

Though demand for Game of Thrones has decreased slightly, it remains the more in-demand title in the United States by a large margin.

For the first time, Fear the Walking Dead has more demand than its parent show, The Walking Dead, due to the fact that the former is still airing new episodes while the latter is between seasons.

Much like Orange is the New Black, Pretty Little Liars is increasing in demand, perhaps due to the approach of these shows’ highly-anticipated new seasons in June.
