Czechia Genre and Subgenre Preferences for Series

• As in every market in this report (except for Japan), drama was the most in-demand genre in Czechia (35.5%) for Q2 2022.
• Czech audiences gave the largest share of demand to action/adventure (10.1%) genre in this quarter.
• In contrast, factual content accounted for the smallest share of demand (0.1%) in Czechia across all markets in this report.

• Japanese Animation ranked higher in Czechia than in the other two European market in this report.
• Sci-Fi Drama ranked higher in Czechia than any other market in this report as the third most in-demand subgenre in Q2 2022.
• Czechia was the only European market in this report to rank the Pre-School subgenre in the top 10.

Czechia Originals Share of Demand and Demand Distribution

• In Q2 2022, content from Netflix experienced great success in the Czechia where it made up the largest share of demand for originals with 11.1%.
• BBC and HBO were both very successful in Czechia this quarter where they made up their largest share of demand (4.9% and 7.1% respectively) in this report.
• CBS had the 2nd largest demand share in Czechia in this report. The 6.3% share of demand given by Czech audiences was above the global share of demand for the platform (4.8%).

• As in most markets in this report,Stranger Things, the drama from Netflix,was the most in-demand show in Czechia in Q2 2022 with 34.42 times the average series demand.
• Czechia was the only market in this report where The Simpsons (7th), from FOX, ranked higher than Attackon Titan (10th) as the most in-demand series in Q2 2022.
• The action/adventure series, Star Trek: Picard was the most in-demand Paramount+ production in Czechia this quarter with 10.74 times the average series demand.
