We looked at the digital original series which grew most in demand in the US in November compared to October. Topping the ranking of digital original series rising fastest in demand this month is The Shrink Next Door from Apple TV+. The star studded show features Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Katheryn Hahn and is based on a podcast which itself is based on a true story.
Two other series from Apple TV+ also feature in this month’s shows rising fastest in demand. Like The Shrink Next Door, Invasion is also a new series from Apple TV+. The streamer has excelled at building demand for its series over time by releasing shows on a weekly schedule. Dickinson’s third and final season was released on November 5th and is scheduled to drop episodes through the end of the year.
Hawkeye and The Wheel of Time were among the 10 shows rising fastest in demand this month. Both have been highly anticipated by their respective fan bases, and so far look to be on track to be some of the most in-demand new series premieres of the year.
Both The Great, from Hulu, and Tiger King, from Netflix, returned for their second season this month. The Great more than doubled its October demand making it the digital original with the 6th largest month-on-month increase in the US. Big Mouth returned for its fifth season at the beginning of November and saw its demand rise 70.3% month-on-month, showing that even older series can have some of the biggest surges in demand.
