Our latest data has found that production house Gaumont’s hit drama series Narcos currently ranks as the fifth most in-demand digital original series in the world for 2018. In addition to that, the anticipation for the upcoming fourth season of the drama series is driving demand beyond that of any previous season’s debut. Three successful seasons of Narcos have propelled the series into the ranks of the most popular digital original shows in the world. During its launch in September 2017, we found that Narcos season 3 was the most popular digital original title of any SVOD service in the US. During the same week, Narcos also registered as the #1 digital original in most major markets, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Australia, India and China.
