If you've been feeling like you're watching the same stories again and again on television lately, it's not just you. It's hard not to see double. In the past six months, there have been revivals of intellectual properties like "Avatar: The Last Airbender," "Percy Jackson," "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," "One Piece," and "One Day" on streaming services. With the exception of "One Piece," the anime adaptation of which has been in production since 1999, all of these shows are based on novels or television series that were first adapted as films in the 2010s.
