LAVS 2021: digital & content production in key regions

19 April, 2021

Along with the first five conferences revealed from last week, new sessions and round-tables have been confirmed, including hot topics such as digital and content production with a focus in key regions, where those businesses are getting stronger: MENA and Latin America. Additional programming will be announced in the run up to LAVS that recently confirmed 900 executives registered, from which close to 750 are buyers from +70 countries.

Among the highlights revealed is Parrot Analytics session “How to Successfully Expand Revenue Streams for Content Assets” to be premiered on May 14. Traditional borders between content platforms and geographies are falling apart. This erosion means entertainment leaders can now monetize content over a wide variety of options ranging from SVOD and AVOD platforms to consumer products, gaming, theatrical releases and traditional pay and linear TV models. Alejandro Rojas, director of Applied Analytics, Parrot Analytics, and Alex Nempeque, Data & Insights Director, WarnerMedia Latin America, return to LAVS to share their insights on how to develop content strategies that tap into wider sources of revenue streams.
