Netflix’s ‘The Kominsky Method’ got a big boost in popularity after its Golden Globes wins

Netflix’s “The Kominsky Method” didn’t have a huge audience before its big night at the Golden Globes, when it won the award for best comedy series and best actor in a comedy (Michael Douglas). But our data suggest that the Globes piqued audience interest. Our research shared with Business Insider revealed that audience demand for “The Kominsky Method” grew 73% on January 7, the day after the Globes. The show was ranked just below our top 100 streaming shows in the week leading up to the Globes (December 31 to January 6).
