As first reported in Deadline, the comedy winner was Big Bang Theory’s Chuck Lorre, followed by The Orville’s Seth MacFarlane, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Mike Schur, Silicon Valley’s Mike Judge and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s Tina Fey. Tops in drama were DC Comics king Greg Berlanti, Shonda Rimes, Doctor Who’s Steven Moffat, American Horror Story’s Ryan Murphy and Shameless’ John Wells.
