Talent Agencies Turn to Popular Podcasts for New IP, Developing Film, TV Projects and More

Podcasts have attracted the attention of talent agencies and networks, the aim as always is to discover the next TV or film hit. “Lore” is based on the hit podcast by Aaron Mahnke about historical, supernatural tales; according to our global TV demand data, of the five original Amazon dramas released in 2017, “Lore” ranked third in terms of audience demand within 30 days of release – well behind “Z: The Beginning of Everything,” which was cancelled in September.
