There’s A Good Chance Netflix Could Lose ‘Friends’ Soon

The loss of Friends, in streaming services as in life, would be a blow for audiences around the world. The Warner Bros. Television show first aired in 1994 and ran for 10 seasons on NBC and began streaming on Netflix in 2015. The show’s appeal has remained strong, all these years later. We measured it as the third most popular sitcom in the U.S., behind Brooklyn Nine-Nine (#1) and Big Bang Theory (#2) from mid-August to mid-October 2018.
