Parrot Analytics is able to measure the popularity of both linear and subscription-video-on-demand content in the US and for 100+ markets worldwide. In this weekly report, which focuses on the US domestic market only, as always we include the popularity of Amazon video titles based on our demand data along with TV shows from all other SVOD services. The top broadcast, pay TV and cable shows in the U.S. are presented along with any OTT-first titles in our “overall” chart.

In this latest analysis, the launch of the series finale episode of Sense8 (ranked #6 with 43% more demand compared to the prior week) on June 8 is one of three returning series this week. The modern science-fiction drama has 68% more demand compared to dormant titles like Star Trek: Discovery and Stranger Things (both titles are ranked in the bottom two).

The first half of season four of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (previously ranked #11 last week with demand jumping to 30%) premiered on May 30, the comedy series had 12% more demand compared to Netflix’s Trollhunters. The second half of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is expected to debut January 25, 2019. 13 Reasons Why and The Handmaid’s Tale remain in the top two positions, respectively.

ABC’s Roseanne has roared back into the overall chart as the eighth most in-demand title this week. The (now-canceled) sitcom has slightly more demand compared to HBO’s Westworld. Elsewhere, NBC’s America’s Got Talent (ranked #3) experienced a surge in popularity compared to scripted titles.
