Netflix Video Measurement & More on US TVs Top 10 (24 February – 01 March, 2016)

Because streaming platforms do not release first party data on viewership, it is difficult to carry out any meaningful Netflix video measurement studies. Parrot Analytics has built a demand measurement system that is able to quantify how much audiences want a TV series in over 100 markets worldwide, compared to any other TV series – including Netflix originals. Let us now take a look at the U.S. domestic market using global TV demand data:

Top 10 Digital Originals

Newly released Full House revival, Fuller House, has the highest demand this week.

House of Cards remains the third most in-demand digital original series, despite the arrival of Fuller House, with more demand than Orange is the New Black.

With the new top show and the increase in demand for Sense8, Transparent and Master of None have been pushed out of the top 10.

Top 10 Overall 

The new Fuller House is the first ever digital original series to make it to the top 10 overall shows, second in demand only to The Walking Dead.

The demand for X-Files is still high despite the fact having ended on February 22nd and the final season of American Idol has increased its demand bring it to the top 10 for the first time.
