26 June, 2017

Digital television measurement in the United States and everywhere else in the world is now possible with Parrot Analytics’ global demand measurement system: Both the worldwide popularity of TV series episodes on linear networks, as well as demand for episodic TV series via an OTT service can be tracked.  This week in the US, the top 3 positions remain unchanged compared to last week. Demand for Netflix’s Orange is the New Black fell by 30% compared to last week.

Moreover, per our digital television measurement system, Netflix’s The Ranch remained in the top ten and surpassed House of Cards by 27% in demand this week. Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle reappeared in the chart this week after the news that Jason O’Mara is set to join the cast.

On the overall chart, the seventh season of Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars concluded on June 20: High demand for this event caused it to rise to be the fourth most in-demand show in the US. The rest of the chart is mostly unchanged from last week.
