Parrot Analytics SVOD ratings data utilizing Demand Expressions, which is a global measurement unit based on country-specific demand for television content across all platforms and devices. Let us now take a look at the U.S. market using this dataset.

Top 10 Digital Originals

Last week, Marvel’s Jessica Jones was the top digital original series by a comfortable margin.

Mozart in the Jungle is starting to climb up the ranks, after getting a lot more attention after its wins at the Golden Globes.

Older favorites such as Orange is the New Black, Transparent and House of Cards are in the top ten alongside new hits such as The Man in the High Castle and Master of None.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars also had high demand most likely due to the recent release of the new Star Wars movie.

Top 10 Overall

Pretty Little Liars, which is currently airing new episodes, was the most in-demand show over the last week.

As American Horror Story aired its final episode of the season on January 13th, audience demand for this title may decline over the next few weeks.

Some popular but not currently-airing shows, such as The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, are still within the top 10 by demand.
