Global Media Business Veterans Bruce Tuchman and David Bishop Join Data Science Company Parrot Analytics’ Board of Directors

Parrot Analytics has announced that Bruce Tuchman, former President of AMC Global and the Sundance Channel Global, and David Bishop, former President of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and MGM Home Entertainment, have been appointed to its Board of Directors. Parrot Analytics is a data science company offering the world’s only global cross-platform, country-specific audience demand measurement system.  The announcement was made by Wared Seger, CEO, Parrot Analytics.

Bruce Tuchman is currently an investor, advisor and entrepreneur within the global media and technology sectors. Previously, he was President, MGM Worldwide Networks; and prior to that he was Senior Vice President, New Media Ventures, Nickelodeon, and General Manager, Nickelodeon Global Network Ventutes. Tuchman started out his career as a mergers and acquisitions associate at Skadden Arps in New York and London.

Tuchman serves as Chairman of the Americas Fund for the London School of Economics and Chairman of the National Council of the University of Michigan’s Performing Arts Society, one of the nation’s oldest arts performance organizations and winner of the 2015 National Medal for the Arts, which was awarded by President Obama. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors at the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He was named “Content Executive of the Year” at Digital TV Europe’s Euro 50 Awards in 2013.

David Bishop is a widely respected entertainment executive who, having been President of two of the world’s biggest home entertainment distribution companies, played a pivotal and strategic role in ushering the home entertainment industry into the digital age with the adoption of such innovative and revolutionary digital technologies as the DVD, Blu-ray, 4K and 3D disc formats, as well as various digital distribution programs. For his many contributions to the industry, Bishop was inducted into The Variety Home Entertainment Hall of Fame.

As President of David Bishop Media, Inc. he advises companies on revenue expansion and develops leaders and organizations. Bishop also sits on the Advisory Board of The Annenberg School of the University of Southern California Third Space Initiative. He has also sat on the Advisory Boards of Stanford University’s Positive Coaching Alliance and the Graziadio School of Business & Management’s mentoring program at Pepperdine University.

His philanthropic activities include being Chairman of the philanthropy committee at the Los Angeles Foodbank. Bishop was also the founding Co-Chairman with Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges of Fast Forward to End Hunger.
