Metrics Indicate ‘House Of The Dragon’ Interest Is Near Double ‘The Rings Of Power’

28 September, 2022

I am frankly a little tired of people telling me I shouldn’t be comparing House of the Dragon and The Rings of Power, two fantasy series with huge budgets on giant streaming services. Not to mention Amazon’s entire goal in sinking as much money as they have into the Lord of the Rings universe was to have their own version of Game of Thrones, which House of the Dragon has been spun out of.

And as such, I do think it’s worth nothing that so far, things seem to be going a bit better for House of the Dragon, compared to The Rings of Power. And no, I’m not talking about audience scores (but sure, also those).

While streaming services are purposefully nebulous with their actual viewership numbers, what appears to be the case is that at the very least interest in House of the Dragon is dramatically higher than The Rings of Power.
