Digital TV Ratings are now possible with Parrot Analytics: For the second week in a row, Netflix’s Iron Fist is the most in-demand digital original series in the United States; the superhero series had almost six times more demand than Marvel’s Luke Cage. We have also noticed that Iron Fist appears to have driven demand for the rest of the Netflix-Marvel Defenders series: Daredevil had 11% more demand compared to Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle, and Jessica Jones had a minor increase in demand compared to Amazon’s The Grand Tour.
The steady demand for Marvel’s Luke Cage was enough to make it the second-most in-demand series this week, with a 19% change in demand compared to last week. Our digital TV ratings also reveal that Hulu’s The Path remained in the top five, but demand has risen by 5% compared to last week.
Iron Fist also made an appearance on the overall chart: High demand caused it to rise to be the second most in-demand show in the US. This week, the superhero show had twice as much demand compared to Game of Thrones. The Walking Dead, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia all had less than a 10% week-on-week decrease in demand; and Legions dropped 26% in demand compared to last week.
