Hit titles from the last quarter including Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why, Orange is the New Black and The Handmaid’s Tale all registered an increase in demand from last week. Netflix also had two new titles Santa Clarita Diet and On My Block in the top five with steady demand that was enough to make these the fourth and fifth-most in-demand series this week, respectively. Both titles increased in demand by roughly 30% in contrast to last week.

During 2018, The Handmaid’s Tale from Hulu was largely absent since it finished its sophomore season during the year. But with new episodes returning on April 25, the dystopian series had 86% more demand compared to last week. Furthermore, since the trailer was released on March 28, its’ popularity has generated enough demand to drive it to #10.

Spongebob Squarepants was the most popular television show in America this week overall, The Walking Dead was in second place, followed by Game of Thrones and Supernatural. Among the top overall titles in the United States, Supernatural remained in the top five due to the veteran series guiding the Winchesters and Castiel into the Scooby Doo world; demand for the drama increased by 6%. In the bottom two, The Voice and superhero drama The Flash, rounded out the chart.
